I want to output an mpeg4 video with compression video type h264.main. When I look at General tab 1280x960 is not listed. The closest setting is 640x480.
The user defined button is not available (greyed out).
How to I output at 1280x960?

Don’t think you can do 1280 x 960 H264 combination?
What version of Video Studio are you using?
For vsX5
Try
Share Create video File – Custom—Mpeg4—Options—Compression 264 High—should give 960 x 720
This would be 4:3 ratio, is that what you want, 4:3 aspect
Also try Custom Quicktime-MPEG4 Visual will allow for User Defined.
