While we try to act as go between where we can, the problem is that with the ASP forum, while we know what the complaints are -- and agree that they are justified -- we no longer know who to report them to directly in Corel. Craig Copley, who shepherded the original move from Bibble, appears to have gone the way of a lot of other Corel staff. I think the last time he appeared anywhere on this Board was about October last year. I have also tried sending him emails a couple of times, with no response. So I am just as much in the dark as you ... and I too am an ASP user, and would like to see more regular updates.

What about the dev Team. Anyone you know there who could introduce you to the right person?

Ken and I are not connected with Corel in any way other than running these forums which we do completely voluntary and unpaid.

We have no inside knowledge at all of who works on what programme (or even who works for Corel) and who leads them other than odd snippets of information which appear in posts on these forums.

so we are in no more of a position to put the case for ASP than you are.

I see...
Well, let's stay positif anyway! Please stay tuned. We still need both of you.

Is there anyone in this forum who is still in contact with a former Bibble guy who worked on the deal with Corel? ... Anyone please who can give Ken & Brian any contact with Corel?
Thanks in advance to every one.

Hmm ... linkedin still shows him as being at Corel - in the Bay area. Don't know whether this was where he was at the time of the Bibble transaction. He may, of course, have gravitated to another project or product.

Craig is still there, as of this week, and in charge of both ASP and PSP. He's a busy man
(I have been in touch with him regarding upgrading to Windows 8 for both products).

Busy with what? Removing more functionality?
Sorry, I am getting seriously cynical.

Too busy to monitor this forum I suppose?
Could you use your contacts to encourage him to assure us that there is still life in the old dog.

Yup. I've already done that these last few days...
It's a little tricky to convey what he told me but he reassured me concerning NN for existing customers after I mentioned the rumours here.

Rumours?
Fact is, PictureCode revoked their License.
Fact is, NN is no longer accessible in the latest update.

I don't know the facts regarding PictureCode and their licence, so I referred to them as a rumour.
The fact is that he specifically wrote to reassure me concerning NN for existing customers after I queried the rumours here.
(Regardless of any trial version for new customers in the eStore).
I am reassured :)

Just ask Jim at PictureCode. Very easy to confirm.
Or check the current download to see the actual implementation.
I can't use my paid for Noise Ninja registered anymore when I install 1.1.1.10....

Just like any other "reassurance" from Corel, I consider this hot air as it contradicts hard facts.

You are at liberty to consider whatever you want as hot air.
I did say deliberately "Regardless of any trial version for new customers in the eStore".
I also said it is tricky to explain here...
Rest assured is all I can suggest :!:

Should we also light some candles and say the rosary? Sorry but I couldn't resist, it was stronger than me.

Anyway. I'm considering moving to DarkTable, since I'm also a paid customer of NN and its supposed disappearing from the latest version is something that has really distressed me. If we just had an official press-release on the matter!...

Well, I am sure Corel won't send anyone to your home and uninstall Noise Ninja from your personal computer. Probably that is the kind of reassurance we are talking about. Existing customers can continue to use it.
