Support for Panasonic G1X RAW format? (.RW2)

Hi,

I've had a Panasonic GF1 for a long time and have used AfterShot Pro (and Bibble before) for processing the .RW2 raw files.

I just upgraded to a Panasonic G1X and I'm having trouble using AfterShot to process the RAW files.

I'm using AfterShot Pro 1.1.0.30 and I have found a message in this board from Apr 2012 saying that AfterShot Pro 1.0.1 added support for the Panasonic G1X.

However, here's the problem I'm having: When I'm looking at a .RW2 RAW image in AfterShot Pro, the Temp slider is greyed out and when I click on the White Balance pulldown, it doesn't pull down so I can't adjust the white balance.

In the same session, if I look at an older .RW2 RAW image from the GF1, everything works fine.

Curiously, I can click on the click white balance dropper and seem to affect the white balance of the image, but I can't slide the Temp slider to change the white balance.

Similarly the "Highlights" slider and the "Raw Noise" slider are also greyed out.

Am I missing something?

the few testfiles from the GX1 work fine here with 1.1.0.30

are you sure you are not looking at JPG-files? because then the WB-behaviour would be exactly like you described it.

My intent was to be editing a .RW2 raw file, though I suppose there is a chance that I accidentally shot something in JPG before I had the camera customized for my preferences.

I have subsequently edited GX1 .RW2 files just fine, so let's chalk this one up to user error.

I have a new Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ 200 and I can not use AfterShot for the RW2 files from this camera . My old Panasonic Lumix DMC LX3 files works fine, they are RW2 files too. Adobes Camera Raw handles the latest RW2 files correct as does the SilkyPix. But not AfterShot. Corel needs to update raw files more quickly, as fast as Adobe does I wish and think, the FZ 200 was released a year ago.

Until Corel fixes this I use the great SilkyPix!

There is a new release out now. GX1 is not mentioned in the list of supported cameras, though.

Maybe not mentioned in the release notes, but look:
