Can you be more specific?
Are you using PI to create and save jpg’s and gif’s and when you try to upload with your Browser they are not recognized?
Or, are you saying you created images for a Web Page and are trying to upload with PI?
If so what feature of PI did you use to save your images in?
Do you remember the specific Error Message?
What OS are you using?

Yes.

JPG/JPEG/JPE(JPEG file interchange form. GIF (Graphics Interchange Format)
Do you remember the specific Error Message?
Yeah... here it is="We could not determine the file type of your picture. Please make sure it is either a JPEG or GIF image. On windows JPEG images usually have .jpg as the extension, and GIF images have a .gif extension. File type reported: image/jpg
To upload a picture just click the browse button and select the picture you want to upload. Once you see the location of the picture appear on the upload picture field click the upload button. "

Try this, On the Start Bar, go to Programs, Accessories, Paint, and open the Windows XP Paint program. This program is really basic, but opens jpgs and gifs. If the previous files you saved with PI won’t open using the Paint Program then you have a problem with PI.
If you can open either file format, then resave them in Paint, and then try to upload them. If the files don’t upload then you have a problem with the Browser. Or!
If the files do upload then probably during the installation of PI 10 your file extensions were corrupted, and you will probably have to reinstall. Turn off Anti-virus, and any other software working in the background before attempting a reinstallation.

This one is the nightmare you never want to have to face.
Run you Anti-Virus software on all drives to insure you didn’t get a Virus.
Once the virus scan is done go to the Control Panel and Select Internet Options. Select the following Buttons, Delete Cookies, Delete Files, Clear History, get rid of all of the Internet Garbage. Open your Email and get rid of the files in the Send Folder, and if your using Norton’s Anti-Spam, empty that folder as well. Once this is done try to upload a file. If you have AOL your Upload Folder may be full and need to be emptied, I don’t know how to do that anymore.
If the previous did not work then, I would ask you if you can use Restore to go back to a point in time before you installed PI? If you can not, then turn off the Restore feature, and then reboot your computer. Once rebooted, turn the Restore feature back on and rescan your drives with the Virus Scanner. Try once again to upload a file.
If not, I would check to see if the Directory you upload to is still valid and working. Open the Paint program, and save as small a file in the *.BMP format and then try to upload to a Directory you know is valid and you have access to. If it uploads your other file extensions are damaged, if not the Browser is damaged.
There is little remedy for a damaged Browser, other than reinstallation of the Browser or the Operating System. Internet Explorer had a bug that could cause this condition with Internet Explorer 5.5. It was supposed to be fixed with the Update to Internet Explorer 6.0 and XP SP2.
You can get all of the Win XP updates and see if this solves the problem. If not, if you don’t have IE 6, you can download Internet Explorer 6 from Microsoft, and install on your system, get all of the updates again, to see if this solves the problem. You may have to reinstall you ISP info, so write everything down before installation.
If the above does not work then you are looking at an OS reinstallation. You might want to call the Geek Squad on this one, if you haven’t done this before.
Sorry I can’t be a more inspiring helper.
