MPG4 cannot specify frame size

Post by sgraham »

Using VS4. The largest frame size for MPG4 output is 720zx576. I cannot specify custom frame size as the area is not available (dimmed out). what gives? I want to try and move from WMV at 12870x720 but the frame size for MPG4 is not customizable.

For 1280x720 MPEG-4, you have to start on the Compression tab and select h264 High or h264 main. Then go to the General tab and select Frame Based and 1280x720 and then frame rate. Then go back to the Compression tab and change the bitrate. You can't change the dimensions to anything other than what are in the lists for h264 as I recall.
