Slide Show only plays part of the photos

Slide show plays fine on PC in DVD MF 3.5, but after burning to DVD to play on TV, the show stops after just a few slides...

What am I doing wrong?

What did you do and how? More detail please, like project settings, image formats etc.

I went to the digital media center to start a new slide show
New Project with output disk format DVD
Add Media I picked create a slide show
I selected my photos (jpg), picked 4 seconds , random transition and added an mp3 file for background music.

on next screen left create menu checked and use first clip as intro unchecked then NEXT

on next screen for menu setup I left motion menu unchecked, edited titles and then NEXT. (if I view the slide show on this screen all looks and sounds good)

next screen is preview screen and all plays and sounds good

On next screen I check record to disk w/ format DVD-Video (only choice)

MPEG files
24 Bits, 720 x 480, 29.97 fps
(DVD-NTSC), 4:3
Video data rate: Variable (Max. 7000 kbps)
LPCM Audio, 48000 Hz, Stereo

checked "do not convert compliant MPEG files
did not check treat MPEG audio as non-DVD compliant

clicked output to start buring DVD....everything seems to go fine with no errors.

Still won't play what I see in the program.
