PSP X4 Install updates problem.

Post by Disgusted Randal »

I have a problem trying to install upgrades. I got flagged recently for PSPX4 about an upgrade, tried to install it, and found my something or other in the program didn't mate something or other in Documents and Settings. After much time wandering around the Corel website, I found the new upgrade is apparently SP3, and somehow I missed SP2. So, I downloaded SP2 and tried to install. After running several minutes, the upgrade tells me my PSPX4 is running, and the upgrade can't continue. So I go to Task Manager and stop PSPX4. Immediately the upgrade program vanishes. Truly worthy of an Escher drawing: the upgrade program starts PSPX4, then says it can't continue because PSPX4 is running. Any suggestions??

Maybe try re-booting after you close PSP and then try to run the update.
