I'm sure there are a number of ways you can achieve this and others will jump in with their thoughts. The easiest for me would be to make a new image in your desired grass color and add noise to it via Adjust -> Add/Remove Noise -> Add Noise and then duplicate the layer. Lighten one of the layers via Adjust -> Brightness and Contrast. Next select the Eraser Brush and select the square brush with Hardness at 100% so you get nice straight edges. You can play with the Opacity until it looks right to you. Set the size of the brush to match the width you want for the stripes. Click on the top layer in the layers palette and you can begin to "erase" your stripes by clicking on the top of the image and then move to the bottom of the image and click while holding down the shift key. You can go to the View menu and check Grids to help you visually line up your stripes. When you are satisfied with the results you can merge your layers and save the image.

Note: I didn't spend a lot of time trying to get the colors and contrast realistic but just wanted to show the process.

Here's a couple images to show you what the layers palette will look like and illustrate the erasing method.
