Yep, I hear that - It's a complete deal-breaker for me too.
I shoot wildlife - birds for the most part - and not only do I routinely have really tough light to deal with, but I also have absolutely no control over the light or the subject matter.
And yet a converter with excellent highlight handling, such as Lightroom (as here) allows me to get from this to this.
Photo Ninja example here.
All ASP does is turn the whites grey, and it recovers no feather detail whatsoever. Absolutely none.
Support for Sony A99
Re: Support for Sony A99
Photo Ninja does not support the A99 at the moment. But will release a new version shortly that does.

Try processing a concert shoot with a few hundred images. I takes about ten times as along.
But yes, I am hoping their next release will provide more speed and workflow functionality.
cheers

If you can do it in PN in only 10 times the time then you're doing much better than me!afx wrote:Far from it unfortuantely.mick232 wrote:Photo Ninja is the new Bibble.

Re: Support for Sony A99
Photo Ninja just added support for the A99 and several other cameras.

It is not quite there yet in terms of usability. But the IQ is impressive. I called it the new Bibble because it is driven by a small, agile, and innovative company and therefore has a promising future.
