Preview gone in Jpg Optimizer PSPx4

The preview area of the jpg optimizer has turned black today.
Previous actions before this appeared.
1. Changed colour space to Prophoto.
2. Exported a tif to Pspx4 in Prophoto from Lightroom 4.3
3. The colour did not look the same or as good as the original.
4. Cancelled that action.
5. Changed the colour space back to AdobeRGB
6. Exported again in AdobeRgb
7. Resized and proceeded to jpg optimizer...BLACK preview panes.

Just before I was going to type 'what to do?' I thought about Monitor Calibration Profile.....
Turns out that when the monitor is calibrated that Psp does not 'catch that'. The new profile name is there in the Color Management panel but it is not picked up in the color space. The old profile is retained. I have been renaming the monthly color munki monitor profile but it appears wiser to just stay with the same name. I just opened Color Management and then reopened Color space ....THEN...the new profile name appeared....THe jpg optimizer preview returned.
So I started with 'here's an issue' and ended with 'found the solution' all in one posting
