Create 3D video file from left and right files
I have some pairs of left and right videos that plays fine on 3D player that combine both files to 3D output. How do I edit the pair to one side by side video with videoStudio 5 pro?

Re: Create 3D video file from left and right files
VS can produce a sort of 3D video from original 2D video, though personally I think this is more of a gimmick than anything capable of an even semi-"professional" result. But I am not sure that it can edit existing 3D material.
About the only thing I can think of is to put one of your video streams in the main timeline, and the other in an overlay track. You would need to right click on the latter and select "fit to screen" to ensure it is the same size as the other track. Then render them to a new video. But as I say, I am not sure this will necessarily produce a usable result of the type you are after. But you could perhaps use a small section of both tracks and experiment with that.

Re: Create 3D video file from left and right files
Hi, I have tried this method and it doesn't work. Since the program can create 3D files what is more simple than using existing left and right files. I guess the VideoStudio miss this option.
Re: Create 3D video file from left and right files
I was about to start a new thread asking if 3D can be made from scratch but did a search and found this one.
Suppose I took two identical camcorders with the exact same settings and mounted them on a tripod side by side, like a pair of eyes. Could that footage then be manipulated by VS to make a 3D file?
