Titles off center

Post by newfielander »

Guys can anyone help me with, why are my titles in my project always off center to the point some words are even off the screen when I try and save a project ? I'm using Prox5 and I love the program, but I cannot save my project without the titles that I have in the project off center, over to the right. I did manage to save my project as a MP4 Hd format and it was fine, when it comes to the titles, but of course the quality isn't as good. I want to save it as AVCHD or Blu-ray. The video files I have in my project are all MTS files.

When you play the project -- including titles -- in Project mode, are the titles centred? What is the format of your original video? If SD, is it 16:9 or 4:3?

(I can't really think of any reason why they would get off centre. I use titles all the time -- more often than not several to a project -- with both AVCHD and HDV video, and the titles thankfully always stay where they are placed...)

Hi Ken,thanks for your responds, yes its very frustrating.
When I play back the video in the project mode ,the titles are fine. Once its saved as a file all the titles are off center, its so strange. The files in the beginning are MTS files. (AVCHD) footage taken with a Panasonic TM900,which are HD video.

I have the same problem. Makes it very hard to even correct typo's even. Seems the text is all over the place

Curious if you have tried the center button in the text options, once you are done creating the text in the titles, and ready to render?
This worked for me in one of my videos.

Thanks for your reply, I have some god news,I might have it figured out, what I did was move the text over to the left quite a bit and now I saved the project as a video file, and the wording is in the center where i want it, I have 4-5 titles or text in my project and I have to work each one after a few attempts I will get all the text (titles) in the place i need them, its looks strange in the project to have the wording way off to the left but as long as it works its fine with me!!
