Save YouTube password

Post by jetkins »

I have Google's Two-Step Authentication enabled, to better secure my Gmail and YouTube accounts. Google provides a means to create unique passwords for applications that do not handle two-step authentication, but doing so requires that the application remember the password and reuse it each time.

Unfortunately, I can't seem to find a way to have VideoStudio remember and reuse my YouTube account name and password - it prompts me for them every time, so I have to issue a new Application-Specific Password every time I want to upload a new video directly from VS.

Is there any way to tell VS to save this information so I don't have to jump through hoops every time? Without it, the upload feature is pretty much useless for anyone who uses two-step authentication.
