Videostudio X5 application will not load

I've been using this product for a few weeks and this morning it stopped working. Searched the forums, applied all of the fixes. Manually uninstalled, re-downloaded, reinstalled and still crashing on application loading. 6 hours of pure frustration. Never had an issue with X4. Any thoughts before I completely uninstall and purchase a new video editor?

So what changed on your system (updates, new programs) that created your problem? If you have been using it for several weeks that shows that there is nothing wrong with the program but that something else is interfering with it.

Do you get any error message? Exactly when does it stop working -- do you, for instance, get to the splash screen? Or does it stop when you add video or try editing?

The only new programs added was vreveal and malwarebytes. I get the startup screen then a quick DOS screen with an error but it flashs to quickly to catch then the program quits. I manually uninstalled the program, ran a registry scan, restarted the computer, re-downloaded the program, installed and continued to have the same issue.
