I watched the Corel X5 Pro demo of someone importing a DVD on video, but when I insert either +R/W or vanilla DVD disc with home generated content from a few years ago VideoStudio Pro X5 doesn't import. The Capture - Import from Digital Media finds the files on the DVD and even displays them and can preview, but I never get the "import" button going live.
Any ideasl?

Re: importing non-copywrite DVD - why not working?
I am not sure where your seeing an 'Import' Button.
Insert Digital Media leads to a browse window headed 'import from digital media' with a 'Start' button - from here I click on "Select Import source folders" and go to an import box then when I browse to the DVD and tick the box next to it I have an 'OK' button.
my screen looks like this when I want to import from DVD

Aha, thanks for the walkthrough, this was really grating on me and now finally I have the solution, it worked perfectly
