Hi all,
I run Ubuntu and Aftershot Pro. I have an HP F4283 Deskjet printer attached directly to my computer.
I am currently trying to print directly from Aftershot Pro and I cannot get it to work.
Aftershot Pro only lists "lp" as a printer when printing. I have tried printing directly from lp at the command line (i.e. lp -> type some text -> Ctrl D) and that works.
Aftershot Pro seems to think it has printed everything correctly (there are no errors in the AftershotPro.log file that I can see.
I have seen a few some posts regarding printing in Linux on here:
1. Creating symbolic link from /opt/AftershotPro/supportfiles/images/*.svg to /opt/supportfiles/images/*.svg -> tried this still nothing
2. Upgrade CUPS to 1.5.3 -> I am at this version.
Has anyone come across this before? Any thoughts? I have uploaded my AftershotPro log file in case that is required.

Re: Printing through "lp"
Don't know if this will help ya, but to get an HP printer to work with Ubuntu and ASP I had to reinstall all of the hp drivers and programs along with cups program and drivers.
Thanks.

Re: Printing through "lp"
Hi.
Thanks for the suggestion. My printer itself is working from every other application its just Aftershot Pro that is giving me an issue.
In all other applications I have the actual printer listed (Deskjet HP-F4283) but in Aftershot Pro it only lists "lp" or "Print to File".
I will try re-installing CUPS etc as well.
How does one get support from Corel on issues. I can't find anywhere that says "ask for support here".

My printer worked in every program but ASP. I install synaptic and reinstalled both the hp and cups drivers and everything worked agained.
