I am using Paint Shop Pro since it was developed by Jasc Software. Unfortunately I stopped at version XI due to feature lost in all later versions.
One of the tools I use the most is Cropping tool. Up to and including XI, I was able to point mouse pointer at ANY part of the cropping line and resize cropping area. Very useful if I zoom and cropping 'handles' (in the middle of the lines and at corners) go beyond the screen.
In every version after XI I am forced to adjust cropping area ONLY by dragging cropping handles and am not able to adjust cropping area moving JUST lines.
No matter what fancy feature Paint Shop Pro has now, without that simple feature it has no value for me.
Is there a solution to adjust cropping area moving cropping lines pointing a mouse (or cursor, keyboard keys, whatever!) at the crop lines and not only at the crop handles?
Thank you.

Re: Cropping 'handle'
To be clear, this feature was lost in X2 - X4. It was actually one of the many things requested and complained about during the X4 beta.
X4 got it back after a service pack. And it is now fully available in X5 again.

LeviFiction - I owe you one big THANK YOU!!!!!!
And thank you for clarification. Correct, after XI I did try every version (but not X5 since I gave up) and feature was missing. Now it is finally BACK!
I do have some slight issue with it: when moving a crop line it positions itself somehow in the 'middle' of pixel (big magnification). I can get used to handle that but is there something in settings to adjust 'precision' or it is my video card causing it (ATI Radeon HD 4600 series).

Re: Cropping 'handle'
Just checked X4 and I see the same thing when I zoom in. But, the crop line only appears in the center of the pixels until you release the mouse button. Then, it snaps to the nearest whole pixel. The top and bottom crop lines move down, the left and right lines move to the right when you let go.djovajova wrote:I do have some slight issue with it: when moving a crop line it positions itself somehow in the 'middle' of pixel (big magnification).
