I want to extract some movie clips from a VCD or DVD but don't know if MediaStudio able to do the tasks :
1) Cut a big movie file into several pieces and join them together
2) Some VCDs have 2 languages in left & right audio channel. Is it able to extract only one audio channel and then generate into a move clip with stereo audio
3) Generate some movie clips from DVD but with selected audio channel
If the above can be done easily, it will be very useful in creating some PowerPoint presentation with movie clips ...without the need for video player like WinDVD, PowerDVD
Hope to hear some advice
Split/Join + Stereo => Mono

Yes

Yes, albeit clumsily. Nick J. has some audio filters to facilitate this.

Not as it stands. You need a more sophisticated ad hoc DVD ripper.
