About a year ago, I bought VS3 and installed the online version and installed it on my computer. Now I bought a new computer and I would like to know if I can load VS3 on my new computer.
Thanks,
Bob

Yes. Under the EULA, you can install it on up to three different computers, though technically you are only supposed to use it on one at a time... So watch out for the Corel police!!

Re: Can I transfer VS3 on a new computer?
Thanks Ken,
I want to install it on the new computer and uninstall it from the old computer anyway. Can you lead me to information on how to install it to my new computer since I bought it online?
When I bought it on-line, of course I didn't get a disc with it so I'm not sure how I would do it that way.

Did you not save the download ?
I don't know where you will get another download for X3 - you could try contacting Corel Support - with your serial number for X3 and see if they will make a copy available to you.
Failing that I notice that at the moment Corel are doing some very good deals on VideoStudio X5 - maybe it is time to update - if your new computer has Windows 8 then X3 may not like that anyrate.
This time please save the downloaded file somewhere safe - on a DVD say - so you can re-install at any time

Re: Can I transfer VS3 on a new computer?
Hi thanks for the advise but I couldn't get it to work. Now I bought VS6. I guess they want to make it hard to do and not answer emails so I guess they won. Anyway I increased to 8gb ram after buying VS6 and it worked very fast. Now today after getting started working, it keeps freezing after I try to do the first thing which was only moving the timeline scrubber. Really!!! All I did was move the timeline scrubber and it crashed the program!
Anybody know of why it would do that??? I can't get any work done at all.

Please don't double post. You have started another thread on the same subject, and it will only confuse matters if someone posts here and others post to the other thread...

Comment for Brian,
Hi Brian, I'm a bit behind reading this thread, but just read your input and it really made me smile. You used the phrase "anyrate" and I've not heard that since I lived in Burslem in Stoke-on-Trent years ago. Not a term heard very often here in NZ, made my morning.
