Has anyone found the HTML5 functionality to work at all?
It is my understanding that the HTML5 functionality in VideoStudio X5 helps allow videos to be seen regardless of the platform (ios, android, Windows, Linux, etc.). Well, I was curious so I took a small 50 second video, chose an HTML5 project, rendered the HTML5 files, and then put it up on my web space. I then went to my wif'e's iPad and my Google Nexus 10 (android tablet) to see how it worked. Basically, it didn't. It played some audio after some time and it appeared video tried to play, but it was clearly a mess. Has anyone else had a different experience (positive)?

Hi buddy, make sure to follow the steps below first. I myself haven't tried this yet by the way.

Oh yea, I followed those steps and actually did something more basic than what they have there. I didn't add any links or anything like that. This is just having a single basic video play.gavind wrote:Hi buddy, make sure to follow the steps below first. I myself haven't tried this yet by the way.

I have only created a few HTML5 projects and then opened the index.html file with Internet Explorer 10 and with Firefox 17 on a Windows 8 64-bit PC. They play back as expected.
MotionStudio 3D 1.0; Corel VideoStudio Ultimate X7 (w/o sp1) (Download), Corel PaintShop Pro 15.2.0.12 (Download)

I saw the same behavior, however, once I tried to get an iPad and a Nexus 10 (Android) to play it across the network (locally) it failed on both. Also, I then went and put the same files on my webspace and tried to play the back across the internet. With Internet Explorer it played OK, but with anything else (Firefox, IOS (iPad), Nexus 10 (Android), Chrome, etc.) it failed.Kingston wrote:I have only created a few HTML5 projects and then opened the index.html file with Internet Explorer 10 and with Firefox 17 on a Windows 8 64-bit PC.
