I have been using the ASP 1.1 versions for some time, both with and without OpenCL enabled.
AfterShotPro 1.1.0.30 frequently hangs when processing Batch Outputs.
Typically this may be outputting two JPEGs - one Full Size (F) and one Resized JPG (J).
If I am careful and wait for each Batch Output to complete before starting another, ASP is OK but if I 'rush' it by starting a second one either F, J or two successive Fs, ASP eventually hangs and stops outputting. The Task Manager process can be over 90%.
Has anyone else experienced this?
Should I revert to AfterShotPro 1.0.1.10 ?

I am running various batches in parallel... No problems.
I suspect you have a plugin active that triggers this.
Corel has not told the plugin developers anything about adjustments to the new version, and quite a few started to have problems ;-(
cheers

Thanks for the pointer to plugins.afx wrote:I am running various batches in parallel... No problems.

Using ASPlugin Manager I have disabled all but two of my Plugins (Wavelet Sharpen & zPerspector) and so far it seems better.
Do you think it is the fact that the Plugin is present in ASP or only if it is used in an image that causs the hanging?
(I suspect the culprint might be 'AutoLevels'

I think it is some weird interaction as my watermark queue with zText runs fine.
As long as Corel does not publish any details about the OpenCL changes, it is all guesswork.

Re: AfterShotPro 1.1.0.30 Hangs on Batch Output
After reducing my Plugins to just two essential ones - Wavelet Sharpen and zPerspector, I got excited that things seemed to improve.
I was using my Olympus E-PM1 ORF RAW files and my 'hanging' problem appeared to go away, even when processing two batches of 34 images simultaneously.
I also noticed a speed improvement using OpenCL set to "Minimum".
However, I then tried the same with my Canon EOS 550D CR2 RAW files and it all fell apart...
The 'hanging' problem returned with a vengeance. I could hardly process more than two images before it occured.
I have gone back to 1.0.1.10 for now, in order to complete my Xmas shots!
