cant uninstall and reinstall PSP Pro x5

Got my new copy of PSP Pro x5 disc earlier this week and loaded it. Booted it up and looked around some...
Had to do a restore today. Figured I'd have to reload but the PSP files appear to be there but it wont run so I was gonna reinstall it. When I put in the program disc it runs a bit then says "Setup.xml could not be loaded. This may indicate that the file is corrupt."

I get the same thing if I try to remove PSP with control panel....

Any help will be appreciated.
