Failed to create Direct3D Component Error Message

I'v installed COOL 3D Production Studio and when running the program I get this message: "Failed to create Direct3D Component.(BuildD3DDevice(Fail to create D3D device), No error.)" I am using Win XP SP 2 on a HP Pavilion 760n, 512 Mb ram, Nvidia Riva TNT2 64 Pro Video Card. Some please help me?

Make sure your videocard supports the directX version you have. Try updating the driver of your display card from its manufacturer's website.
