Corel WinDVD Version 10.05.804

This software was pre-loaded on my Sony Vaio Laptop, purchased from new, in 2010.

I have no user manual, or product serial number, and cannot therefore register the software, and cannot find any suitable software updates.

Please advise how do i find the serial number, register the product, and find updates / fixes for it?

Have you looked under options>about Corel WinDVD, under ver 11 you click on the arrow with the circles around it, then choose the cogs icon & it's listed under there, mine shows the serial number. I bought my copy so it might be different on a pre-installed one.

Thanks for your efforts.

On my preinstalled version, there are no Options or About tabs to check out. I only found out the version number 10. 05. 804. from the list of installed programmes displayed on CC Cleaner.

Checking on the Corel site it seems like you may have the latest version/service pack, this is the link to the standard version: http://www.corel.com/corel/pages/index. ... pid=800054
