Simple, though the controls may be a bit hidden. When you have selected the image or video you want to rotate, look over to the extreme right of your screen, just above the zoom and duration controls above the timeline. There will be a blue Options tab. See the first image below. Click that. Then on the screen which appears, look at where the red arrow is pointing in the second image below and select whichever way you want to rotate. This is for video, but it works the same for an image.

Ken
Many thanks
I was sent a clip from a friend who'd left the camera running on its side at a wedding!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yes I don't understand that either and he asked if I knew how to solve his problem - I didn't - and so am extremely grateful to a man who does.
Best
Terry

Re: rotate through 90deg
you have a bit of a problem now in that the image is is now taller than it is wide
In a similar situation I put the wrong way video in the overlay track and turned it and stretched it - keeping the correct aspect ratio to fit top to bottom - then put a flowery photo in the top track so that the TV screen was at least filled with colour with the upright video in the middle.

Re: rotate through 90deg
...And I once had a lady friend who did the same thing on a trip to Africa and all those wonderful filmable sights. She said she thought it would be artistic, and like a still camera held on the side. With some of the narrow, tall shots, I did them as picture in picture, spread across the screen against a coloured backgroun. Mostly looked OK...
