Can't open .RW2 file from Panasonic Lumix. Trial limitation?

Hello,
I am a newbie in Corel AfterShot Pro. I have trial version 1.1.0.30.
The problem I am experiencing is that using "File->Open File" works Ok for jpg files from my camera, but it does nothing when I choose .RW2 file (RAW format from my Panasonic Lumix FZ200 camera). It is remarkable that after choosing "File->Open file" and opening .rw2 file the program does not pop any error or notification, and it does not open the file.
I already tried to change .RW2 extension to .rw2, which did not give any improvement.
Is it trial limitation, or is it a bug?

If you don't like the Silkypix RAW converter that comes with the FZ200, you can try Helicon Filter 5, which uses DCraw and others. It's a nice program and free with a file save limitation of 4MP. Go to: http://www.heliconsoft.com/downloads.html
