How to change youtube setting on X5

Post by Shroominkid »

I can only upload 15 minute videos on Video studio x5. I cant find anywhere on the internet on how to change my login settings so I can upload past the 15 mark. I am verified from youtube to upload longer videos. Im getting sick of waisting my time saving it as a WMV and then going to youtube to upload it that way. My upload speed is slow enough already :(

So, How do you change youtube settings on Corel Videostudio Pro x5?

Picture wise,
How can I not get this error when uploading to youtube?

It is not possible to change the upload duration within VideoStudio it is preset.

As you have found you can create a video file of any length and independently load that to your youtube account.

How is loading to youtube outside of VideoStudio any slower or faster than doing it inside Videostudio - it still all uses your same internet connection

Takes about an extra 35-40 minutes to save the video file as a WMV. But thanks anyways :-)

but why are you doing that ??

if you already created a video file in the Create Video file >> upload to web section (presumably an mp4) then just quit the youtube function and upload the video created to youtube - there is no need to create an additional .wmv file

I dont understand?

after im done creating the video I go to create video file and save as WMV. Are you trying to say that it already saves as a WMV in a different folder or that I can change it to always save files as WMV?

When in VideoStudio you go to "Share >> upload to Web >> Youtube" you get three choices - if you choose either of the first two then VideoStudio will produce an mp4 file which may take your 35 - 40 minutes to produce before you can upload it to Youtube - so it is still going to take the same amount of time. at the end of the conversion if the file is to long you can quit the VS youtube window and upload the file created to youtube in the conventional manner in IE from your own hard drive.

If you choose the third one "Browse for a file to upload" then that implies you already have a video suitable for upload to Youtube - so you do not need to convert that to a .wmv - just log into Youtube and upload it,

so we have some confusion here - if you already have a file to upload you do not need to open VideoStudio at all

If you do not have a file such as an .wmv or an mp4 to upload then either you will use the upload to web choice taking 35-40 minutes to produce an mp4 - or you will just use the basic Vs output to produce a .wmv - again taking your 35 - 40 minutes

same time either way
