Effect To Make Photo look like Canvas Print

Hi All
I'm new to this forum and would like to ask some advice. I have PSP x14 on win7 64b. I would grade my knowledge of psp as intermediate, but would like some advice on a little project. I would like to make a photo look like it's on a canvas so that it would show a depth of border along the top and down the nearest side. I have tried altering the perspective and adding narrow selected lenghts from the top and side of the original photo but am still not getting the effect I am after. Any tips or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Is this what you are looking for?

I made a new layer, filled it with black, transparency about 50%, finally I used the Soften tool.
The canvas is in Effects - Texture and there are 2 or 3 different canvas samples.
