PSP X4: Problem (bug) with star rating

I started rating all of my pictures in large directory structure. To see all of the non-rated pictures (more than 20.000) at once, I select "Collections" "Ratings" "No Rating". I started rating the files and ended the program after I rated more than 1.000 pictures. As I started PSP X4 again after a while, it seems that all of my ratings were gone, because all the pictures I rated were shown under the "no rating" item. But if I mouse-click the preview pictures of the files I've already rated, the star rating appears. That's really fun, to click all the hundreds of pictures I've already worked on. Is there a better solution or - even better - a bug fix?

Have you tried the 'refresh' option? That sometimes helps with weird badly programmed manager hiccups. On the top left of the organiser (thumbnails), there's a folder button on the left (show/hide navigation), then the 'list'-like button (more options). You'll find refresh there. Start that from the collection/folder that you want refreshed.

Correction: if I first select all the pictures and "refresh" it works, but that isn't really fun if you select "Ctrl-A" several thousands of prictures...
