Nobody here is going to make it 24bits 192 or 96 or whatever since this is a users forum and not the Corel site. If you want to know what Corel plans for the future, you will have to ask them.

VideoStudio X5 can do all sorts of Montage and Picture-in-Picture effects - if you explain exactly what you want to do another USER may be able to help you.
as said - it is no good asking us what Corel are going to do.

You have not explained at all what it is you want to do.
VideoStudio is mainly a video related program. It is not an audio editing program
Just because Corel is mentioned in the forum title does not make it a Corel site.

what is hard to understand in that? i really explained in a easy way to understand. what you dont get? SURE i wanna make a video with it. a music video with HIGH quality sound. high quality is 24bits 48khz or better.
but the only thing i can do with corel videostudio is PCM poor 16 bits/48 Khz. can't even import 24 48... just 16 48 again. so when it come to post it on youtube.
i have my compo mixdowned in wav fomat at 16/48 because videostudio cant go higher. else i could go with 24 192.
and videostudio compress it in pcm 16/48
and google compress it in mp3.
3 compressing before download on youtube. i lose a lot audio quality.
is there a way AT least to make it HD audio in a video software somewhere? professionel videos are with HD video AND HD audio too. not just cd quality, but DVD audio quality.

Re: can't import wav 24bits 192 or 96 and can't export in 24
wow cant believe it.BrianCee wrote:Is there a video involved here ?? - you seem to be all about audio.
im talking about audio because the problem is the audio IN WHATEVER videos!
i just typed the messages before:
ANDPsychatoR wrote:SURE i wanna make a video with it. a music video with HIGH quality sound.
and there in 1rst message:PsychatoR wrote:professionel videos are with HD video AND HD audio too.
so im not talking about video? cmon ... maybe my english is not my main language but it least im not blind hehe.PsychatoR wrote:is there a video montage sofware who can make it .
the problem is : i wanna make a VIDEO with my music "wav" in it. but high QUALITY audio. noone know about high quality audio? 24 bits? cmon guys.
its not because its corel videostudio that we have just to talk about videos. there s ALSO AUDIO in those videos we create.
videostudio can import videos AND AUDIO, in PCM/MP3 etc... theres a lot import "compressions" (avi, mp4, mpg, etc) in videos formats and ALSO in audio formats (PCM, MP3, etc) but ONLY 16 BITS.
and i d like to have 24bits instead. theres no *** way?
we are in 2013 and we are still in 16 bits audio? cmon ..
noone know how or another video software (with audio like videostudio) who could make it 24bits?
how many times i have to repeat? ..
sorry but its really annoying. thats my last messages.
is there a corel forum with professionnels anywhere else or something like that? please ty

The answer is NO.
You need professional editing software, I'd suggest the adobe creative suite, then you can link the audio editing using audition to the video editing in premiere.
http://www.adobe.com/uk/products/creati ... ction.html
Of course editing to professional standards means paying professional prices, you'll look at spending $1,500 for the software and will need a decent pc to run it properly.
VS is an enthusiasts video editing programme, made for everyday people, I cannot ever see it expanding to take in your needs.

Re: can't import wav 24bits 192 or 96 and can't export in 24
I am always amazed by the versatility of the "domestic" video editing programmes. The available options are way beyond my needs or my expertise. I am impressed by the power that is built into this software. In some ways I wish it was less powerful and easier to learn!!
My history starts with 16mm (my grandfather) and 8mm (me). The editing viewer and cutting block, the liquid glue plus knife to scrape off the emulsion. My projector even had a gizmo on the side where I could thread audio tape through and the speed of the tape recorder controlled the speed of the projector. My first "Talkies"!
Later on I bought a Sony Hi-8 camera and the editing suite which comprised a Hi-8 tape recorder and the camera controlled by a box which could read "time-code". A friend in our Video Club bought a computerised editing system, it was massive and took up two sizeable desks.
I now have my new PC with DVD burner and SD card reader. Video Editing is one of many jobs it does.
We should remember just how far we have come in half a lifetime. The exotic is now commonplace and the process of film/video editing is reduced from a major exercise in manual cut and stick to a matter of dragging clips onto a timeline. I think we expect professional TV quality from our videos while forgetting that these studios have more computing power than 10 Apollo missions.
We should "be content" with what is available but, as always, press for better and better facilities. For my part, I want my videos to show quality content and not be messed about by computing wizardary.

I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not so sure.

FWIW, if your goal is to upload your video to YouTube, the audio will be significantly compressed when YouTube processes the video for playback. Even at the highest quality on YouTube (1080p), the audio will be in the neighborhood of 256-kpbs MP3 quality. I understand the desire to have the maximum possible fidelity in the source video... just don't expect that quality to hold up on playback from YouTube.PsychatoR wrote:...but the only thing i can do with corel videostudio is PCM poor 16 bits/48 Khz. can't even import 24 48... just 16 48 again. so when it come to post it on youtube.
