help can't start VideoStudio Pro X5

I have just tried to download from that link, the first time it did not complete the download, the file was only 2,794Kb when it should be 1.22 Gb

Strange but this has happened to me for earlier downloads.

Please try to download again, if it fails the first time repeat the download again until you are actually downloading a large file.

AttilA -- my earlier post in this thread asked a lot of questions, which you have not really answered. We still know little more than that you bought X5 and cannot install it. No one can really help with such little information from you.

If you have the full complete download file, then try this: create a new user profile in Windows with Administrator privileges. Then log-on to that new profile. Then try installing X5 under that profile. If that works, then you can later delete the new profile and X5 will remain on your computer.

Unfortunately, the software will run, but the installation program fails to open.

AttilA - we all realise that English is probably not your first language but we really do need more information from you - please tell us about your computer - what operating system - Vista, Window 7 or what - how much RAM etc.

tell us the story of the problem from the first time you downloaded the file.

have you tried a complete manually uninstall as detailed here :- http://tinyurl.com/bx22trc

it is no good keep running the install programme if you have not cleaned corrupted files from previous failures.

when your computer is clean you can try install again
