Cannot Install VideoStudio Pro X4 Ultimate

A while back I was trying to uninstall the Bonus Applications, ProDad and Boris Grafitti, and finally had to uninstall the whole application. Today I was going to reinstall and work on some videos. I inserted my disc and clicked the Install VideoStudio Pro X4. Instead of installing, it takes me to a page saying, Are you sure you want to completely remove Ultimate and all its features. I have tried several times, even browsing the disc and and choosing auto run from there. Any ideas whats wrong? I tried to figure out how to insert a screen capture shot of the page but couldn't. Thanks.

What happens if you say YES to that request ??? - try it - you have nothing to lose if you have already un-installed it.


I had that happen once and when I clicked yes after a bit of whirring it installed without problem.

Tried that. It will go through a process of scanning computer then says, Process not completed, only valid for products that are installed. I have an older XP system that it does the same thing in, two computers and cannot install on either.

Try checking the computer(s) for the software that's installed, and do an uninstall through Control Panel in Windows. Assuming you find the software on the computer, that is.

In Windows XP, go to Start > Settings > Control Panel.

Then double click on "Add or remove programs." Look for anything in there that says Corel or VideoStudio. If you find something, click on it, then click the "Remove" button.

If you can delete any remnants of VideoStudio, you should be able to re-install it with no problem.

I cannot find anything to uninstall. Is there a guide on how to manually uninstall in Windows 7? I will be very skeptical to purchase any other product from Corel if I cannot find a way to reinstall this. I have VideoStudio 11 and have reinstalled it several times without any problems. Thanks.
