Hello!
Is somebody able to speak in plain text whats going on with ASp? Iam an old Bibble user and after a few years of abstinence i have bought ASP last week.
So now by chance I have a new Camera: Olympus e Pl-5; Unfortunatley this model isnt supportet yet, but it uses the same Chip as the D OM 5 wich is supportet, so i guess it couldnt be difficult to implement it. The last update was in April 2012, so its quite a long time.
Will there be an update to ASP, or is it better to exept the loss ( bought for using it for a week) and choose an other Converter? Who knows?
thanks
anatolli

Re: Whats the matter with ASP?
I formed the view quite some time ago that it's unlikely that we will see any further cameras added. I'd like to be proven wrong, I really would, but the longer time goes by with no signs of life, .....

Re: Whats the matter with ASP?
There aren't any new cameras in here other than what was in the last beta, is there? And my understanding is that they were all added while the old BibbleLabs staff were still there.

Re: Whats the matter with ASP?
what is the matter with ASP? - it is very sick on my system and it seems to be terminal
1.1.0.30 release - running no opencl on 40 images with full output to jpg = 3.2s/image
- with opencl min =3.05s/image
- with openCL rest of options =3.66
1.0.1.10 previous release - same images 40 to full jpg = 0.839s/image
I really am very disappointed as opencl has been worked on for many months and on my system it results in a slower performance, not just a bit slower but almost 4 times worse! I think this may be the last straw for me and time to move on to what used to be a slower software but now is faster - the irony of this release is that the advantage AS had is now no more.
I do hope others get better results and if so maybe they can tell me why my system hates AS with or without OpenCL but loves 1.0.1.10
