Yes, you just need to setup Outlook to be your mail application to send, receive and read your gmail account then set Outlook as your default email program. - http://support.google.com/mail/bin/stat ... 12103&rd=1

This way whenever you go to FILE > EMAIL it will then open Outlook and have the image either embeded or attached to the email window.

You don't need Outlook specifically. Though PSP works best with Outlook.

The best method is to use an email client of some sort. Outlook, Windows Mail, Thunderbird, etc, etc. Use whatever you're comfortable with.

Embedding vs Attaching
PSP can only embed images into an Outlook client. All other email clients it uses the regular Attachment method.

Embedding means that it places the image directly into the body of the email. Attaching simply means that the image file is included as an attachment to the email. So as long as you aren't disappointed by not being able to Embed images there is really no great difference between using Outlook and using any other client.

So what's the difference? A silly thing called MAPI. All other clients use Simple MAPI and Outlook uses Extended MAPI. PSP prefers Outlook for this reason. But will work with all of your other clients just fine.
