I am still using version 1.0.1.10 and a while back I was griping about Color Correction not working since Corel released their 1st version after Bibble. In Bibble, using the color picker and narrowing the range allowed one to alter a very narrow range of color and was a jewel of a tool. Wanted to make some flowers pop in shrubs in the background? Put the picker on a certain color of flower, saturate it, bring up the luminance slightly and voila, flowers popped. Want to tone down the background greenery because it was distracting, pick the shade of green you targeted, saturate and bring down the luminance and it faded away from your subject. After Corel took over the CC tool just flat didn't work. Well now it does. I know others were unhappy about it too. So just out of curiousity, when did it start working again? Anybody know? Just sign me one happy camper.
Pete.

If you haven't upgraded the software in the time between the last time you tested it, and now, then the cause of the problem is not ASP, but something else on your system.
An upgraded graphics driver, for example. New monitor? Bugs in Windows that have been fixed now?
And this can explain why some see a lot of problems and other are OK with the software.

Re: Color Correction is working
Yeah, I thought about this after I posted. I have no clue. I always keep everything updated. I haven't tried the ASP beta because of all the negative postings. I had given up on it (CC tool) right after Corel came out with their version and hadn't tried it until a couple of weeks ago when editing for a friend. She saw the Color Correction tool and asked what it was so I explained that it didn't work anymore and demonstrated it to her. Well, eating crow is not exactly a new experience for me, thankfully. Anyway it works and I am glad. It is a little puzzling that others had complained of this also.tomsi42 wrote:If you haven't upgraded the software in the time between the last time you tested it, and now, then the cause of the problem is not ASP, but something else on your system.
