Quit WinDVD with remote in Media Center?

Post by TOMillr »

Ok, I can use both WinDVD Pro 2010 and 11 with a media center remote and the programm even adds a nice shortcut to the main menu of Windows Media Center - but how do I close the program with the remote?! Is there a way to quit out of WinDVD with the remote so that I get back to the Media Center UI?

AFAIK, there is no option to close WinDVD with the REMOTE, you may need to close WinDVD manually. You can however contact the support for the media center remote to see if they can give you a workaround.

Well, with my remote from Leadtek TV card I can program each button to whatever I want e.g. to close active application...
What remote do you have? Is there an app to configure buttons? WinDVD is being closed by standard Alt+F4 or by X buttons.
