No input on VideoStudio 10.0

Post by Bion »

Hi,
I have just tried the Videostudio 10.0 on Win 7. Everything is connected for to record from VHS, but I get no signal no matter how I tweak the settings. Any ideas?

You are very lucky that you have managed to get Version 10 to work at all on Windows 7 - V10 is very old now and was released way before windows 7 was even thought of. Have you ever managed to capture with VS V10 ? did you have it on a previous computer or have you just got it and loaded it on to your Win 7PC.

If you have just acquired it then it was probably with a device called Easy-cap was it ? - if it was then please read this topic :-

best option for you is to download the free trial of VideoStudio X5 (that's version 15) and try that - if that does not work then you may have to say goodbye to your easy-cap and try something else.

If you are not using easy-caqp then please tell us what you are using and how you connect it between your VHS player and your computer.

Hi,
I'm not using the EasyCap, but a device looking like it, called Mumbi.

You may also want to try VS X5, which is full compatible with Windows 7. You can download a 30 day trial at http://pnoy.me/coreltrials
