winmm.dll is a module for the Windows Multimedia API, which contains low-level audio and joystick functions. This can be caused by conflicting program or a damaged/outdated WinDVD.

Here are some steps that you can try.
- If you have other multimedia or media player running with WinDVD, please close the program before running WinDVD 11.
- Update WinDVD 11 - http://www.corel.com/corel/pages/index. ... id=3500025
- Make sure you Windows OS is updated - Run Windows update via CONTROL PANEL > WiNDOWS UPDATE
- Reinstall WinDVD (last resort)
1. Manually remove WinDVD 11 - http://corel.force.com/index/articles/e ... s-7-64-bit
2. If your installing from a disc - http://corel.force.com/index/articles/e ... c-Bad-disc
3. if from ESD or Download you may need to redownload the installer - http://corel.force.com/index/articles/e ... d-My-Order - then run the installer while the anti-virus and firewall are currently disabled.
