I'm hoping someone could help- usually someone always does!

My laptop which housed VSX5 Ultimate crashed- hard drive took a crap. VSX5 was basically the only software I ran on it. Now, the problem is, I cannot for the life of me, find where I put the original software. Luckily, I registered the software and am able to see my serial number at the Corel website. My question is, can I get this software back, once I install my new hard drive, having just the serial number from my original purchase? And if so... how?

If it was just the Pro version (as opposed to the Pro Ultimate ) you could try downloading the trial version and putting your serial number into that.

If that does not work or if you have the Ultimate version you will need to contact Corel customer support with your serial number tell them what has happened and they will supply you with a link to download the software again.

Thank you so much for the quick response, Brian! I actually got a quick response from their Facebook page as well-one of the admins asked me to message them my e-mail, so they'll probably provide the link, like you said. Thank you again!!!

reading your original post, it appears that you previously ordered the box or disc installer of VS X5. (anyone can correct me here) If you did then you may need to request for a replacement disc, since AFAIK, serial number for disc installer will not work in activating the downloaded trial.
