I had bought the new NewBlueFx Series VI with the tile function only to find out that Corel VideoStudio is not supported.
Is there another plugin or tutorial to do these tile effects?
Thanks in advance.
Is there a tile plugin fx or tile videos tutorial for VS 5?

In the circumstances, it would be helpful if you could list what Essentials VI included, as well as a brief description if the name is not sufficient to indicate what it does. Otherwise you are requiring people to go to the NewBlue site and search all this out themselves in order to help you!

Oh apologies I thought I was clear that I was referring to the tile fx function per se ( not sure why I would confuse the question by listing the other functions in the suite that were not pertinent to the query ) and my question which was based on the plugins incompatibility with VS5 , I asked if perhaps there was an alternative to create the tile effect?
I hardly believe I'm a presumptuous person, in fact I'm quite polite and articulate by and large. I'm sorry if I offended in you some manner.

Re: Is there a tile plugin fx or tile videos tutorial for VS
Sorry if I misread your post -- though in itself it explains what I was on about. I -- and I am sure most other users -- have no idea what is in the Essentials VI pack. There are usually a half dozen or so filters which do a variety of different things. As I have said in another thread -- I think yours -- I have Essentials I -- IV.
OK, so now I know VI has some sort of tile function, whatever that is supposed to do, and that is the aspect of it that you were interested in. But I for one still don't know what you mean by a tile function -- though others might do so instinctively.
And I didn't mean to insult you either. But unless you explain in a little more detail -- without those of us who don't know what that filter or series of filters do without having to go to the NewBlue website to see what exactly that package does -- we still need a little more detail.

Re: Is there a tile plugin fx or tile videos tutorial for VS
The Tile function within New Blue Video Essentials 6 allows the video to be duplicated many times across the screen, a standard function in other NLE's. The only alternative that I can see with X5, is to use the grid and manually place the video in each portion of the grid, although there may be easier methods.

Indeed Ken. I'll certainly be more concise and place more thought in my questions. Thank you for your understanding.
RobertOZ, thank you kindly. That is a very feasible workaround. Cheers.
