Hello,
I have installed and updated a trial version of WinDVD 11 Pro in order to test 3D playback of 3D Blu-ray discs using the shutter method. Unfortunately, it didn't work.
description of error:
Although WinDVD recognizes the discs as 3D Blu-ray disc and activates the 3D mode, the projector will only receive a 3D image if the output method is set to "anaglyph". If "HDMI 1.4" is chosen instead, the projector will receive a 2D image only. Strangely, the nVidia 3D Vision mode is even disabled, even though the graphics card is compatible.
set-up:
1) several 3D Blu-ray discs
2) HP EliteBook 8560w with nVidia Quadro 1000M and DisplayPort
3) DP/HDMI adapter and HDMI cable (HDMI 1.4a)
4) Epson EH-TW6000
5) compatible 3D shutter glasses
Thank you very much in advance for your help!

It can be a problem with the COLOR ENHANCEMENT, go to TOOLS > ENHANCEMENTS > VIDEO > Click on the COLOR TAB then select PROJECTOR. Then click on the down arrow beside the "3D" icon (3D SETTING option) then make sure you have the 3D Status turned "ON" and CONTENT TYPE is set to 3D.

Hi Abiel,
obviously, a missing driver for nVidia's 3D Vision functionality was the reason for this problem. The drivers provided by HP were outdated and incomplete.
