Upload video to facebook using VSX5

Post by ljh0205 »

I have used VSX5 to upload video files to the my facebook using share->facebook upload fuction.
After I upgraded to windows 8 and fresh reinstalled VSX5, I can't upload the file to facebook anymore using "share" and "web posting" fuction.
When I tried to upload video, it said "can't access the facebook" even my FB's ID and PS are correct.
I already patched with SP1 pack. Any known issue about this situation????
Thanks,

Given that Win 8 was only recently released, you are likely the first to notice this problem. Unfortunately, none of us here works for Corel or know what programming might be involved. So unless by pure luck some other user has encountered the same problem and found a solution, it could be that you will need to contact Corel direct.

I assume that you can still make your video, and upload it via You Tube's own upload method, rather than using VS?

Working with Youtube is fine. Only facebook has problem.
When VS access this to upload to the FB, VS fisrt ask the ID and PS to login to FB and once logged in, then VS saved the this so that it won't ask me again for next upload file. Do you know where is loacated the file to save this info. in VSX5?? I want to delete this and try to let VS ask me ID and PS again.

Just want to asks... are you going to the "BROWSE FOR A FILE TO UPLOAD..." or the other options?

Also about getting the Facebook LOGIN page, just click on the LOG IN AS ANOTHER USER when you're on the UPLOAD TO FACEBOOK page.

Dear Abiel,
That's what I'm talked about.
As you shown the screen shot previously, I'm going to post video file using this method.
However, neither 'upload button' nor 'log in as another user' did work.
Eventhough I press ''log in as another user' button, nothing happen to VS.
So, I would like to initialize my facebook login info so that let VS ask me this FB login info again..
Thanks,
