@junker404
It would only mean that the printer can't interpret PSP's print job. This would not mean that PSP works wrong or sends incorrect data, otherwise no printer at all would print. But this is not the case.

Just tested with X5 and it prints correctly with a Canon IP3600 printer.
So it may be a conflict with your printer or the way your printer is recognised by X5.

its worth looking into

just seems strange its only psp that wont print, without knowing more about the format of a psp print job
by that i mean whats the difference between say Photoshop sending a print job and paint shop

just as a side note psp 7 prints fine problem is psp 9 onwards

#edit
ok i dont have another printer to test this out but i do have another computer

windows vista 32 bit
same printer kodak c310
psp x4

No problems prints fine

#

so in this tangled mess its a windows 7 and psp issue not the kodak printer as far as i can see

specs
windows 7 64 bit
kodak c310
psp x4

I don't print at home so don't have any problems, nor do I have any success or ways to test this. But I ran across a thread on another forum with folks with printer issues. One person said the only way they can get it to print is to go into their services and change things up. I'll give the warning that you can screw your computer up by messing around with too much of this stuff so you can do the following at your own risk or choose not too. I'm using Windows 7 so if you're using something different it may be slightly different directions.

Press the Windows key + R. The run dialog will pop up. In the Open dialog type 'services.msc' without the ' marks. Click OK.
In the Services window that pops up scroll down to Print Spooler and double click it.
Their stumbled upon procedure was
Change startup setting to Manual, Stop, change startup setting back to Auto, Start, Apply, OK.
I'd be inclined to just try leaving it at manual and seeing if that works. They also said that just stopping and starting the print spooler didn't do the trick, you had to change the startup type. If anyone is willing to try this let us know if it did or didn't work for you. Yeah, it's a pain in the neck work around but something's better than nothing. I suspect a Windows update has something screwed up.
Regards, Dan

The problem seems to be that PSP can't cope with the 7.6 kodak drivers

I have PSP X3 and X5 and neither will printer with the current kodak drivers.
Just installed the SP2 for PSP X5 and it still doesn't print.
Only workaround is to uninstall the kodak drivers and reinstall from the original CD with NO internet connection. Mine installed 7.4 which work OK.

This is the response I had from Corel Support (29/11/2012)
To tell you honestly Gavin, we just had this issue recently and will be working on this as soon as possible. I have reported this issue to our development team to thoroughly evaluate so that they can create a fix for this. Unfortunately, I cannot tell you a specific timeframe as to when this will be fixed. However, I would advise that you check our system from time to time if there is an update regarding this issue. Thank you for understanding.

Hello all,

I posted here on Dec 7 2012 about my Kodak ESP 3.2 printer not being able to print from PSP X5, other Kodak printer users have obviously had the same problem.

However, Kodak have just updated their ESP 3.2 printer drivers, I downloaded and installed them today and am now able to print directly from PSP X5!

So, the problem was with Kodak, not PSP, but at least they have now fixed it - hopefully not just for my printer model. I would advise those with other Kodak printer models to check with Kodak support re' driver updates.

Hope this helps.

Confirmed.

Just installed the updated kodak drivers and printing is working again.
Hadn't done it before as the kodak page still has the same version number and release date but it did say 'Updated'
