I have placed the History pallet on the right side to join Layers and Materials several times. I have saved Workplaces to include that History pallet.
It does not stick.
Reopen Psp and no history pallet.
Replace History and it will hide and stay there for that session.
Is there a trick for getting the History palette to stay?

Re: History Pallet-available or not?
Just installed V5 on Win7
BUT
MY error.....didn't SEE that I did NOT have the pallet checked in the preferences.
I had looked at those preferences several times....
Perhaps I unticked without noticing but the History pallet is now on the left side and sticking

Re: History Pallet-available or not?
There are at least two things affecting the History palette.
1. File--> Preferences --> General Program Preferences --> Palettes and the centre section controls allowing docking of the palettes when visible.
2. View --> Palettes and ticking the History palette (or using F3 to toggle it on or off) allows the History Palette to become visible.
