Morning everyone,
I finished a project in VSPx5 and needed to create 3 discs with it - 1 x pal, 1 x NTSC (single layer disc) and 1 x NTSC (dual layer disc).
I used the method of going into VSP afresh, Share, Create Disc and when the new window opened, I added my VSP file, created menus and burned the PAL version.
I discovered that I could not change it to NTSC in any of the settings ( if I did, it reverted to PAL or the custom box had PAL greyed out). I closed the window and it saved the project. Thankfully when I started the same procedure again and changed the project setting to NTSC upon opening VSP, for some reason after selecting Create Disc, it knew to automatically retrieve my last disc making project AND retain all the crafted menus made earlier and off I went making 2 x NTSC discs
Q/ Based on the time saving advantage of not having to redo menus again, where are these saved projects located if I ever need to revisit one and create a different disc at a later date?
I closed VSP and after reopening it, I discover that Share, Create Disc, no longer retrieves my last DVD creation automatically. I'm glad I didn't close it previously. Although I have saved the folders for a repeat disc, unless I can find the DVD project, I can't make other discs without redoing all the chapters and menus.

Share >> Create disc will only remember your menu and chapter settings if you do a "Save" after exiting the burn module - that is in addition to the "saving project" pop-up you get while exiting the module - although you may have confused VS completely by changing from PAL to NTSC mid-stream. It would have been better if you had started a new and completely separate project for the NTSC output - as far as I remember when changing settings you do get a warning that what you are doing may delete some of your previous work.
Project files are saved wherever you told VideoStudio to save them when you did the first save in your project - If you have not changed anything then they should be in the default folder at :- C:\Users\<your username>\Documents\Corel VideoStudio Pro\My Projects.
If you created and saved Video folders (Video_TS) then you do not need to do any more editing on them - just burn the folders to blank discs as many times as you need discs

Re: Making further discs
Is there a separate SAVE option in the DVD module? I find that once the DVD is burned or indeed if I'm trialling something, it saves the project itself.
I've just put my project into VSP, Create Disc (as if I were to do a Blu Ray version) but unfortunately the menus and titles I created aren't there now. (I closed VSP down earlier)
I see there is a favourites tab in the DVD menu creation. I couldn't see the option to save my menu templates as a favourite.

Yes - when in the burn module and under the 'Edit' tab where you change the music and background etc - about 2/3 down is a 'Customise' icon - click on that and in the new window which opens make any change at all to the preview pane (change text attributes or hide something) - as you do that the words "Add to menu template" - will become visible right under the preview screen - click on those words.
Now when you next open VideoStudio that new template will become available to you in the 'Favorites' tab (size specific - so 16:9 only shows when creating 16:9 video - similar with 4:3)
