Paintshop Pro 4 hangs when I right-click, then click "open

When I right-click an image file in Windows Explorer, and then click open with Paintshop, Paintshop Pro 4 seems to open the picture but then it hangs. I have to use task manager to close it. If I open PS an then drag the picture into PS, it works OK.
I've checked for updates, and I'm up-to-date.

You may want to reset your workspace. You can do that by pressing and holding down the SHIFT key then double-click on the PSP icon then when you received the message "DO YOU WAN TO RESTORE PAINTSHOP Pro TO ITS DEFAULT STATE?" just click OK.
