Why Can't I Extend/Drag a Flash Animation

Post by mlstomer »

Hello,

I added a flash animation as an overlay track but cannot get it to extend further than the original animation length, I am trying to have the animation as a background throughout the video.

Any ideas in how to do this would be great.

Thank you in advance.

Even if you could extend a Flash animation and you extended it for a long project it would run so slowly you possibly wouldn't even see any movement - for instance if your animation has a pattern revolving once per minute and you could extend the animation to 30 minutes it would mean that your pattern now took 30 minutes to revolve once.

As I see it you have two options - one is to make a flash animation for the length you want the project to run - and two is just to insert copy after copy after copy of the animation into the overlay track until you reach the length of the project.
