Smartsound files do not appear in Videostudio X5

Hi,

I have Videostudio x4 Ultimate installed and everything works fine. When I click the Smartsound button all my tracks are shown and work fine.
The c:\ProgramData\Smartsound Software inc\ points to where the sound files are are stored. I verified also that they are there outside the program.

I bought and installed Videostudio X5 Ultimate upgrade version on the same computer and now, when I click the Smartsound button nothing happens. Nothing appears. It is as if nothing is there. I got no errors while installing...

Went back to version x4 and reconstructed the database but to no avail.

I tried installing both programs on my new portable I bought a couple of days ago and it does the same thing.

Any suggestions ???

I have recently re-installed X4 and X5, after reading your post I looked at X4 and to my surprise no Smart Sounds.
The installation files included a Contents file at 472 Mb, after installing this, Video Studio X4 started updating the Smart Sound Quicktracks 5 packages.

From the smartsound quicktracks link I see New Standards and Core Foundations under the Album tab

Do you have a Contents file and or disc?

Now I need to check X5

Just to add to what lata mention. You can also download a number of smartsounds when you go to the Corel GUIDE then DO MORE then click on AUDIO. From there... it should install smartsound packages.
