Image in front of Title

Post by kristell »

Hi - I am working on a project with my son. Along the bottom of the screen we want to add one of the text components - which will have a rectangle background and text saying call now and a phone number - then we want to add an image of a phone but we can't get the phone image in front of the text background - it is hiding behind the bar.... it's a bit like you see on the shopping channels with a phone number at the bottom of the screen - but we also want the image of the phone - how can you change the order of how these tracks are laid on top of each other? I am using X4

in the standard VideoStudio set up the top track is the background - the track under it lays over the background - the track below that overlays both - the track below again overlays all three - and the text track at the bottom overlays every thing.

So the answer - slide the text block from the text track up into a video track which is above the image of the telephone.

Yes you can move text titles into a video track - select the text block - hover the mouse cursor over it - left click and slide up into a video track.

use the track manager to add overlays if you need more - you can have up to 20 overlay tracks which is sufficient for most users.
