Hello,
I downloaded yesterday the trial version of Corel X5 pro. The program looks great and I made a photo and videocompilation of 8 minutes with background music and slides.
Here's the problem. When I want to burn DVD, the program starts, but after 10 minutes i see 99% on the 2nd level and the program jams.
It happens everytime when I want to burn of make a video on my harddisk.
What's the problem? I am seriously looking for a decent program where i can make nice photo and video slides, but Corel doesn't help me.
I have Windows 7 Ultimate and my burner works fine. Only with Corel, like i written before it jams and then i have to quit the program.

Re: Corel X5 pro video will not burn
If there is video in the project, can you please right click one of the clips and copy ALL its Properties here. That way we will have a better idea of what we are dealing with.
Usually we say in such cases that you should first render your project to a DVD-compatible mpeg-2: Share > Create Video File > DVD. Then you clear the timeline and go to Share > Create Disc > DVD. The burning module opens and you insert your new mpeg-2.
It is not totally clear whether you have already tried that and it did not work. Can you confirm. please?

Exactly what does the highlighted part above mean?
Please post some details on what you are doing exactly!

Re: Corel X5 pro video will not burn
Hi Ken,
Thank you for your reply. Excuse me for my English as it isn't perfect. I try to be so clear as possible.
I moved Corel X5 out of my PC and intalled it again. I also used the service patch 1 that I saw on this forum.
Now I put Corel to burn the DVD via Share > create Disc > DVD.
I see now 2 beams in a new window. Beam 1 shows Total progression (busy with converting title)
Beam 2 shows the detailed progression. This beam goes till 99 percent and then it jams.
Corel X5 doesn't respond then anymore.
I made first a videofile DVD and I have it on my PC now, but that isn't what i want. I wan to make a dvd disk.
I don't know what you mean by the following: then you clear the timeline and go to Share.
How I do that? I didn't change the settings at all. It shows DVD, HD, MPEG2 etc.
